Die britische Pop-Punk/Emo Band Trash Boat hat für den 20. Juli ihr neues Album „Crown Shyness“ angekündigt. Mit „Shade“ liefert die Band außerdem einen ersten Vorgeschmack auf das kommende Werk und spendiert der neuen Single ein Video. Zuvor hat der Song Premiere auf BBC Radio 1 gefeiert.
Frontmann Tobi Duncan zum kommenden Album:
“Throughout my life, I’ve always found music as something that challenges me. Sometimes you hear a song that hits you so hard, it feels like it was exactly what you needed to hear at that moment. The spark could change your day and challenge you. That’s what this album did: It challenged my anxiety, my family, my responsibilities, my past, my future. I spent a lot of time looking inward, and now the album is ready to reach out”.
Mit „Crown Shyness“ veröffentlichen Trash Boat ihr zweites Album. Das Debüt „Nothing I Write You Can Change What You’ve Been Through“ kam 2016 auf den Markt.
In Hannover waren Trash Boat zuletzt im Oktober letzten Jahres gemeinsam mit Silverstein im Béi Chez Heinz zu Gast (Konzertbericht).
