Was für ein großartiger Tag für alle Cancer Bats Fans und die, die es sicherlich bald sein werden! Die kanadische Hardcore Band hat heute völlig überraschend ihr sechstes Studioalbum „The Spark That Moves“ veröffentlicht. Passend dazu gibt es ein Musikvideo zum Song „Rattlesnakes“.
Frontmann Liam Cormier zum Song:
“This track is all about going against the grain and norms and forging our own path. So many of the things we’ve done as a band have gone against what should be done within the music industry and now, at 13 years, we look back and are so glad we just pushed forward and did things our own way. Sharing that sentiment is Jenna from Mobina Galore a band forging their own path and making no excuses for it.”
Das letzte Album „Searching For Zero“ (CD-Review) kam 2015 auf den Markt. Aktuell sind die Cancer Bats auf Tour, um das zehnjährige Jubiläum ihres Albums „Hail Destroyer“ zu feiern. In diesem Zuge machen sie am 3. Mai im Jungle Club in Köln Halt. Begleitet werden sie von der israelischen Hardcore Band Kids Insane (mehr erfahren).
