Die US-Punkrock-Band Get Dead hat mit „Dancing With The Curse“ ihr neues Album für den 09. Oktober angekündigt. Daraus liefert der Fünfer mit „Disruption“ außerdem einen weiteren Vorgeschmack. Auch der im Juni veröffentlichte Song „Pepperspray“ ist auf dem neuen Werk zu finden. Dieser wurde bereits lange vor den Black Lives Matter-Protesten in den USA in diesem Sommer geschrieben, doch diese waren der Anlass, den Song nun schon zu veröffentlichen, erklärt Frontmann Sam King:
“We wanted to just be able to cut through the noise and have some kind of impact and to try to let people know that what they’re doing is okay, and people are behind them.”
Produziert wurden die rund zwölf Songs von Fat Mike, Johnny Carey, Baz Bastien, Yotam Ben Horin und Chris Dugan (Green Day). Ihr letztes Album „Honesty Lives Elsewhere“ veröffentlichten Get Dead 2016.
