The Interrupters kündigen nach zwei Alben, diversen Tourneen und Support-Shows von unter anderem Green Day mit „Fight the Good Fight“ ihr drittes Studioalbum für den 29. Juni auf Hellcat Records an. Die zwölf darauf erscheinenden Songs wurden von Rancid Frontmann Tim Armstrong in der Heimatstadt LA produziert. Für den Mix war Tom Lord-Alge , der bereits mit Bands wie Blink-182, Fall Out Boy oder Weezer zusammengearbeitet hat, zuständig. Über den Arbeitsprozess berichtet Gitarrist Kevin Bivona:

 “There’s a certain feeling you get from that process that you can’t really get digitally. There’s no overthinking anything—everyone’s got to be fully present and committed. It was definitely high-pressure, but also really fun.”

Mit „She´s Kerosene“ setzten The Interrupters Befreiungsschlag gegen narzisstische Gewalt

Die erste Singleauskopplung “She’s Kerosene” kommt direkt inklusive Video um die Ecke. Im Song macht sich Sängerin Aimee Interrupter frei von narzisstischer Gewalt:

“I really hope when people listen to that song, it helps them feel empowered to leave a toxic relationship.”
