Letztes Wochenende fand das Wacken World Wide statt, anstelle des sonst so ikonischen Festivals am ersten August-Wochenende. Auch Jinjer schwelgen in Erinnerungen an ihren Auftritt auf dem Wacken Open Air 2019 und so teilen sie ein dort aufgenommenes Live-Video mit ihren Fans. „Pisces“ gibt es zu sehen, den möglicherweise bekanntesten Titel der Band. Jinjer schreiben dazu auf Facebook:
„One year ago to the day, we made every metalhead’s dream come true, we entered the stage at Wacken Open Air and smashed it down. You can see and feel all the emotion, excitement and intensity in our eyes and on our faces …. we decided to keep this video as true as possible. We give you Pisces live in all it’s raw and unedited glory!“
Doch das ist nicht alles, was die Band diese Woche im Ärmel hat. Jinjer haben zudem angekündigt, für vier Konzerte nach Deutschland und in die Schweiz zu kommen. Dazu schreiben sie:
„We are very excited to announce that we will play a handful of shows in Germany and Switzerland this September! As a band we have always pushed 100% to get our music out to you and we feel like this is a chance to get back to some sort of normality this year … it’s end of Summer and right before the Fall, with many successful shows played in both countries the last few months. If there is any way to safely perform again – for us and for you – WE MUST TAKE THE CHANCE! Tickets are very limited and all shows will follow local governmental Safety and Social Distancing guidelines … See you very soon!“
