„Exorcism“ heißt die erste Single vom kommenden Debütalbum „Love Made Me Do It“, der Künstlerin Kat Von D. Interesse geweckt? Dann solltet Ihr Euch den 27. August ganz dick im Kalender anstreichen.
Die erste Single bewegt sich im Dunstkreis von Post-Punk, düsterem Pop und leichtem Gothic-Touch. Eine interessante Mischung, die in Zusammenarbeit mit ihrer Band auf ihrem eigenen Grundstück entstand. Gemixt wurde die neue Platte von Dan Haigh. Bleibt zu hoffen, dass bald ein weiterer der zwölf Songs veröffentlicht wird.

“I wrote ‘Exorcism’ after having had binged on every exorcist movie that ever existed. I loved the idea of tying the act of being possessed by something outside your control to what love can sometimes feel like; losing yourself in someone else, and sometimes it leaving you black and blue”.
