John Frusciante war bisher an den Alben „Mother’s Milk“, „Blood Sugar Sex Magik“, „Californication“, „By The Way“ und „Stadium Arcadium“ beteiligt. Frusciante löst Josh Klinghoffer ab und war bereits von 1988 und 1992 sowie 1998 und 2009 Teil der Band.
