Nachdem Swingin‘ Utters erst im letzten Jahr ihr 30-jähriges Jubiläum mit einer Greatest Hits-Collection feierten, soll nun das nächste Album folgen. Ganze vier Jahre sind bereits seit der letzten Full-Length „Fistful Of Hollow“ vergangen. Die neue Platte „Love And Peace“ erscheint am 31. August via Fat Wreck Chords.

Darius Koski erklärt: “This is, by far, our absolutely most political record we’ve ever done. We don’t generally write very pointedly political songs. We tend to be a little more vague and abstract. But this one is pretty pointedly disgusted and pissed off and really directly attacking these fuckin’ people in office.” und Bonnel führt fort “When sexism, racism and nationalism is the agenda, it’s time to speak up.”. Gemeinsam mit Chris Dugan (Green Day) produzierte man „Love And Peace“ in neuer Besetzung mit Tony Teixeira am Bass und Luke Ray am Schlagzeug. Beide spielten zuvor bei Cobra Skulls. Als erste Kostprobe liefern die kalifornischen Punk-Veteranen den Song „Human Potential“.
