Die Mighty Mighty Bosstones haben ein Musikvideo zu ihrem Song „The Killing of Georgie (Part III)“ veröffentlicht. Das Video wurde von Evan Bernard gedreht. Der Song stammt von ihrem kommenden Album When God Was Great, das am 7. Mai über Hellcat Records erscheint.
Der Song setzt sich mit dem Mord an George Floyd auseinander und kommt in der letzten Zeile „They can shake down the mountains, the hills can be removed but love and faith won’t be replaced“ zu einem wunderschönen Kredo. Die Band erklärt:
„The track ‚The Killing of Georgie (Part III)‘ was written shortly after the death of George Floyd, with lyrics inspired by John F. Kennedy’s inauguration speech, Martin Luther King Jr.’s ‚I Have a Dream‘ speech, as well as the speech Bobby Kennedy gave the night MLK was assassinated.“
