Zehn Jahre nach Veröffentlichung des gemeinsamen Albums „Buddies“ kündigen Frank Turner und Jon Snodgrass ihr gemeinsames Werk „Buddies II: Still Buddies“ an. Dies wird am 13. November auf den Markt kommen. Mit „Bad Times, Good Vibes“ liefern die beiden Singer/Songwriter einen ersten Vorgeschmack.
Wie auch „Buddies“ haben Frank Turner und Jon Snodgrass die Songs für ihr neues gemeinsames Album an nur einem Tag geschrieben, für die Aufnahmen gab es Unterstützung von Todd Beene und Stephen Egerton.
Frank Turner kommentiert:
“Lockdown has been such a blow to the music industry and such a drag that we were all looking for things to do. Jon and I have been buddies a long time, and I noticed the 10-year anniversary of our collaborative album was coming up. Technology is such that we were able to reprise the writing method remotely, and indeed it turns out we’ve got a lot better at it in the intervening decade. I’m really, really proud of the record.”
Jon Snodgrass hat für den 09. Oktober außerdem sein neues Album „Tace“ angekündigt.
