Malevolence kündigen das mit Spannung erwartete Album mit dem Titel „Malicious Intent“ für den 20. Mai 2022 an. Heute wurde außerdem die brandneue Single „On Broken Glass“ veröffentlicht, zu der es auch ein Video gibt, das in Sheffield, der Heimatstadt der Band, gedreht wurde. Der Track ist ein Sludge-lastiger Kracher, der die bemerkenswerten Ambitionen der fünfköpfigen Band unterstreicht und ihre Heavy-Metal-Qualitäten unter Beweis stellt.
