Fast eine Dekade war es still um Staind. Jetzt meldet sich die Band mit der Ankündigung ihres Livealbums „Live: It’s Been Awhile“ zurück. Aufgenommen wurde das Konzert 2019 bei Stainds Comeback Show im Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket. Release wird der 7. Mai sein.
Zudem will die Band ihr Comeback mit gleich zwei Streaming Events feiern. Am 01. Mai wird es oben benannte Show aus dem Foxwoods Casins zu sehen geben und am 08. Mai werden Staind dann ihr Erfolgsalbum „Break The Cycle“ zum 20 jährigen Geburtstag der Scheibe in Gänze live performen. Tickets findet Ihr hier. Stattfinden werden beide Termine hierzulande um 23 Uhr. Bis zu 72 Stunden nach Beginn sind die Streams dann on demand verfügbar.

“Our first show together in 1995 was at a now defunct bar called the Waterfront in Holyoke, We played mostly covers, because that’s what you had to do back then. Turns out The Waterfront is two miles from where we did this. Here we are, two miles down the road, 26 years later, celebrating the anniversary of the album that helped us break though 20 years ago and altered our lives forever.”
