Fugazi gelten als Wegbereiter des Post-Hardcore – nun wird der Combo um Frontmann Ian MacKaye ein Tribute-Album gewidmet. „Silence Is A Dangerous Sound: A Tribute To Fugazi“ ist ganze 43 Songs stark, die von 43 Künstlern neu interpretiert wurden. Darunter etwa Authority Zero, The Darling Fire, The Last Gang, La Dispute, Tsunami Bomb, Direct Hit, Chamberlain, Nathan Gray, Into It. Over It., sowie viele weitere.
Erscheinen wird das Ganze am 01. Oktober bei Ripcord Records. Vorbestellbar über die Bandcamp-Seite des Labels. Übrigens: Alle Einnahmen, die durch den Verkauf des Albums generiert werden gehen an Tribe Animal Sanctuary Scotland.
