Im Zuge ihrer Tour macht die US-amerikanische Punk Band Down By Law am 31. Oktober im Kulturzentrum Faust in Hannover Halt. Präsentiert wird Euch diese Show vom Count Your Bruises Magazine.
Die Band um Frontmann Dave Smalley gründete sich 1990. Smalley ist bekannt aus Bands wie DYS, Dag Nasty, Sharpshooters und ALL. Am 03. August bringen Down By Law ihr neues Album „All In“ auf den Markt, das es natürlich auch live zu präsentieren gilt. Dies ist das erste neue Album seit dem 2013er Werk „Revolution Time“. Mit „Rebrand It“ lieferte die Band Ende letzten Monats einen Vorgeschmack aufs Album. Dave Smalley über den Song:
“One of the things that I’ve always loved about DBL is that we absolutely respect our musical roots, yet still sound like ourselves. ‘Rebrand It’ is all about that – never forget the past, but also forge the future. Even has a loving tribute to the Bad Brains. One of my favorite thematic songs Sam and I have ever written.”
