Überraschend haben die Dirty Heads ihr neues Album „Midnight Control“ angekündigt. Überraschend deswegen, weil die Platte schon am 26. August, also in einer Woche erscheinen wird. Um schnell noch ein paar Kaufargumente zu bieten, präsentierte uns die Band bereits Ende Juli zwei neue Singles: „Heavy Water“ und „Life’s Been Good“. Wie nun bekannt ist, werden beide Songs auf „Midnight Control“ zu finden sein.
Speziell „Life’s Been Good“, ein Joe Walsh-Cover, hat dabei einen speziellen Platz inne, denn der Song wird als Nachfolger von „Vacation“ angesehen, mit dem die Dirty Heads 2017 ordentlich Aufsehen erregten.
Life’s Been Good’ is the perfect follow up to ‘Vacation’. It just felt right. If you like the vibe of ‘Vacation’ and that song impacted your life in a positive way, ‘Life Is Good’ is the continuation of that feeling. I think the story of enjoying life is really what Dirty Heads are all about.
