Die mexikanische Band Le Butcherettes veröffentlichte kürzlich ihre neue EP „Don’t Bleed“. Auf der findet sich auch der Song „Don’t Bleed, You’re In The Middle Of The Forest“, zu dem die Gruppe nun ein Musikvideo veröffentlicht hat. Gefilmt wurde das in El Paso, Texas, Regie führte die Produzentin der aktuellen EP Violeta Félix. Die Musik von Le Butcherettes zeichnet sich durch einen bunten Stilmix sowie eine Mischung aus englischen und spanischen Lyrics aus, die nicht zuletzt von der Stimme von Frontfrau Teri Gender Bender getragen werden. Die sagt über das neue Video:
“The song is very heavy. We wanted to make a music video that would juxtapose the heaviness with a feeling of light within darkness. Sometimes it takes a lot of mental energy to leave ‚the dark alley‘ but once you do, the rest of life feels like it glides. From being the hunted little girl to being the hunter on the prowl with the city in the palm of her hand wanting only a taste nothing more.”
